Ruth and Milo

Ruth is Milo and my new friend! We love Ruth! She is a native who helps in our round house! She has a very friendly and outgoing personality! She helps with cleaning, cooking, and our Swahili! She is with us on Mondays and Thursdays all day. Milo was a little hesitant at first but now they are the best of friends! Milo is still trying to figure out all his friends on the center! It really helps to have Ruth here since so many household tasks take so much more time with out many of the conviences of the States. This frees me up to make sure that I am able to spend my time in my areas of giftedness and contribution to the mission.

Ruth made chapati and beans on Monday. So the fun task ingredient for the beans was a coconut! Milo enjoyed helping Ruth with this task! You sit in this "v" type wooden stool with a sharp end. You then put the coconut on the end and scrapes out the inside. Milo enjoyed observing this task since it was new to both of us! By the way Milo likes coconut!
