Right outside the classroom this creature gave me a fright. I spotted him outside the corner of my eye and the Chameleon is what I found. I watched him change colors and then picked him up with a stick. The kids didn't know what to think. (Tanzanians are afraid of them.) He was hissing and letting us know that he was not thrilled but he was so fascinating to watch!
The kids told me in one of their lessons today that this weekend they found two snakes over by their sleeping rooms. One was killed but they say the other one got away!! They claim it was a black mamba which I really hope not! I hope it was just black! Having the longest, fastest, most venomous snake on the center does not make my day! That is something I hope I do not find! I asked them what they would do if I found a snake. They said they would protect me and throw stones at its head. Bless them for wanting to protect me! I told them they would be mighty little warriors like David! They grinned from ear to ear. Bless my little warriors for Jesus!
Prayer Points~
