Kilimanjaro Journey : VBS at Delhi!

Christ Church at Delhi always has a special place in my heart. I was able to be a part of special events with my dear friend Dana Eynon. I met Dana because of Peggy Hileman and was able to help the Eynon's through illness. Even though physically Dana is no longer on this Earth and at Delhi she is very much present. This week was VBS week and I was able to be there as their missionary for the week! I am grateful for Mr. Llyod's leadership and though by the eye a smaller church I assure you mighty things are happening! This week was also special because Milo and my niece Shelby was able to come with me! We enjoyed being together this week in Cincinnati! Milo really got into VBS and the kids loved him! Milo was very good during Missions Moments and also loved leading the VBS songs! On average 15 kids raised over $500 for a vehicle in TZ! They did a wonderful job and were very excited to meet their goal! One boy by the name of John was very touched by missions and reaching the kids in TZ. On the last day this quiet and thoughtful young man brought his jar of savings for offering. Full of coins and bills the amount reached over $80! I was touched by this young man and his generosity. His mom was also very touched, grateful, and a little surprised by her son. She said I had made a significant mark in her son's life. I told her that I felt it was mutual! I continue to be amazed at how God works and allows the Spirit to work in all of our lives to do a Mighty work while on this Earth!
