Meet our Monika! She is the lovely older sister of Tezeria. She is probably around the age of 6 or 7years old. As we begin getting ready for graduation I was looking at pictures from our first days of class. Monika's eyes sagged a great deal. I am not sure if it was out of shyness, malnutrition, or lack of confidence. But, all of those things are absolutely not the case any more! Monika's eyes now sparkle! She now has the confidence in learning and has grasped so much in her time with us. She rarely spoke up and struggled a great deal in the beginning with learning especially the alphabet. She proudly can say the ABCs write them and can write her own name. She is very proud of all these things. She smiles with confidence and runs for the classroom with an excitement to life. As you can see she no longer has sad eyes but ones that sparkle!
Prayer Points~
Pray for my dear Monkia! That her eyes sparkle always with the joy of the Lord. That she remembers what she has learned with us and knows that she can learn. Pray that she remains strong in the truths learned and the love she experiences.
