End of Travel Tails

Sorry it has taken me so long to complete our travel tails!  It have been very busy here at home and many activities, along with jumping back into training, and sending many teammates off have consumed much of the time.

God was good and even though there was a lot of water and mucking it was a part of our adventures.  We had no tires to change, animals to conquer, or trouble along the way!  Beautiful sites were taken in and the drive was long but pleasant.  We left Mwanza late morning to catch up on a little rest.  We were at the gate of the Serengeti by noon.  That afternoon we enjoyed the sites of the clouds moving in for the rain later in the day.  We made it half way through the park by nightfall and stayed at a very nice lodge.  My friend knows the manager who gave us a very nice rate since it wasn't busy season.  We were thankful for a place to stay and good food.  The lodge overlooks the valley and was beautiful!

We left early the next morning to get a good start for the day.  The rest of the park took us through the rest of the park and then into the N'gorogro Crater.  This is currently where the migration is and the animals (grass eaters) were as far as the eye could see.  Truly is amazing.  We climbed the mountain pass and once we did we were on the home stretch!  Pass Lake Manyara and through the plains to Miss Wendy's house we go!!  I was so excited to be home and Milo couldn't even remain in my arms for wigging and licking.

The words are minimal because there just aren't words to describe the scenery.  But, I will let the pictures try!  Enjoy!

How many people get to say they saw this on the way home!!
