Lomayani and his namesake

The man in this picture is Lomayani and he is our national leader over training.  Todd Carter trained and empowered him to lead in the administrative and teaching of the training program.  He is a man of God with a heart for ministry.  In his arms is the youngest of training!  Tody Lomayani was born during the first half of training to one of our Maasai families.  He is named after Todd Carter and Lomayani.  Emanuel is his older brother and Suzana is his counsin.

Then, Eli realized that the Lord was calling the boy.  So Eli told Samuel, "Go and be down, and if he calls you say, 'Speak, LORD for your servant is listening,' "So Samuel went and lay down in his place.  The Lord came and stood there, calling as at the other times, "Samuel! Samuel!" Then Samuel said, "Speak, for your servant is listening."
1 Samuel 3:8-16

As the mommas and babas acted the above passages of scripture and the passage in Luke with this baby in their arms I prayed this blessing on this child's life.  As his parents commit to raise him in the ways of You I pray, Father, that you whisper your promises within his little ears all the days of his life.  That Tody's ears will listen and may the response from his lips be like Samuel's, Speak, for your servant is listening.
