What is it like...

I have missed you my blog and readers!  It has been a bit of a whirlwind of the last few weeks but a good one.  And nothing is better than actually being with the my readers!  Well some of you anyway. My time has been important and filled with blessings.  I have managed to fit everything in two suitcases, a carry-on, and camera bag.  Enduring the goodbyes I began my journey home to Tanzania last evening.  The first leg is filled with tears most of the way to Atlanta.  The emotional release of the stressful getting everything done period, the goodbyes, and the lump in your throat that you never think will go away.  However, London has arrived and my heart is filled with excitement for returning home.

What is it like returning home to the USA?  It is hard and wonderful for sure!  I am humbled and filled with joy how the spirit works and I get to be a tool for so many to be connected to making a difference in the lives of people in TZ.  Thank you for your love and support always.  The kind words, hugs, and gestures are very meaningful!

What is it like to have a Tropical Sprue?  Not fun!  I am thankful for Dr. Richardson and the care of his office to clear me for my return.  It seems that I might have a Tropical Sprue within the upper portion of my small intestines.  He equipped me with a medicine regimen along with ways to communicate with him to mend the problem.  I am glad for the peace of mind and assurance that I will gain healing in time.

Resting in London!

Prayer Points~

  • for my heart as I have left and for those who I left!
  • safe and smooth journey through Africa.  Border Crossings, Customs, etc.
  • healing from the Sprue!
