Three Days spent in a Tanzanian Paradise!

Me and three of my friends spent last weekend on the Indian Ocean.  Pangani was our destination and place of rest for three whole days!  I sometimes forget how good it feels to have a complete change of scenery. For a change I actually felt well enough to fully enjoy it!  It was one of the gal's birthday and this is the way that she wanted to spend it!  It is a beautiful place that is somewhat untouched by the tourism scene.  It was mentioned more than once that we felt like we were on Gillian's Island!  We stayed in what would be compared to like a screened in porch (tented camp.)  We had a bed and a place to put our things.
Most of the time we just laid on the beach reading and catching up on podcasts.  The food was excellent and the German couple running it were very hospitable.  For Jennifer's birthday we spent the day on this sand island below that appears at low tide.  We had a whole island to ourselves!  We went snorkeling, swimming, and shell hunting for most of the day.  The snorkeling was the best I have ever experienced.  I felt like I was in Finding Nemo!  The coral, fish, star fish, jellyfish, etc.  I continue to be amazed at what a wonderful Creator is our God!

The water was so clear!  When we returned to the beach we were told that endangered Green Sea Turtles were about to hatch and make their great safari to the ocean!!  We headed to the nesting area and watched as 127 of the cutest Sea Turtles (5cm in length) made their way desperately to the ocean.  Another animal where I am amazed at how it knows what to do right off the bat!!  It was so cute to watch another incredible experience!

What a wonderful Creator we Serve!
