Neema

Last but certainly not least within Kids Training is our little Neema.  She like her sister Nairesiai (the eldest in the class) are Maasai and will return to Matale later this week.  Neema is about six months old and has learned to crawl during her time with us.  Her favorite thing to do in Kids Training is swing in the new baby swings put up this year.  She is a sweet baby with a very cheerful disposition.  This week is a very big week for all the kids for they will graduate and be sent out to expand the Kingdom in an unreached area for Christ.  This is always a bitter sweet time for me.  I am so happy for all the families watching them grow and gradually understand new things.  It is a joy to be able to send out another group but it is always a bit sad for me to see them go.  I know the path ahead of them maybe one of struggle but I pray the spirit of the Lord be with them as they live in victory even in the midst.

See that you do not look down on one of these little ones.
For I tell you that their angels in heaven always see the face of my Father in heaven.
Matthew 18:10

Father, I pray for strength as we prepare to send out these little faces from here to a place that You have called their family to love in Your name.  I know me in my human weakness feels helpless in that I can not keep accidents, evil, and disease from touching them.  But, I am quickly reminded that we run to You for our hopes are in Your hands.  Help me to remember that Your spiritual warriors can shut the mouths of lions and defeat the agents of Satan (Ps 103:20, Dan 6:22.)  Thank you for Your angels of mercy and power who guard even the smallest (like Neema) in Your kingdom.  I pray the promise found in Hebrews 1:14 for little Neema that she will grow and know that her salvation is found in You and that your angels are ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit!  We, together these families and I, choose to accept the risks of living, knowing that we are held in Your strong embrace for all eternity!
