First Full Day in Tanzania!

"Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ear will hear a voice behind saying ,
This is the way, walk in it." Isaiah 30:27
Indeed this scripture is true in a new and power way in my life! As I walked the path through the Training Center a small and quiet assurance fell over me. Even though I walk in a new culture with challenges ahead my quiet heart keeps hearing keep walking I am with you! And then there was Megan yelling my name very excited to see me!
Today was beautiful and sunny hot day. Things are so much greener than when I was here in October! The short rains visited and it is amazing the difference it can make! The planting was done and one harvest has come to the people here. Actually due to that there were some families who stayed back instead of participating in the training right now. There is an anticipation for the long rains to come. But, for now my feet are dusty from walking the paths in flip flops!
Today, I spent most of the day with Tami and the kids! I slept good! I don't think I moved till Milo began barking at the sounds of the workers working on the other rondavul! It isn't finished yet but should be in the next few weeks! Tami had a few errands to run with the kids and in between we had lunch with a new friend from church. We sat outside and enjoyed a very nice time together. I am just about unpacked which feels very good!
Tomorrow is some orientation things and it looks like I may start with the kids on Monday. This training group is here for a few more weeks before break. I am excited to meet the kids!
Milo had a great day playing with Megan and barking at all the new sounds! I am not sure what he thought of sleeping under a mosquito net! He kinda looked at me like where have you brought me now! But, because we have been a duo on the go he has really adapted well! All the workers seemed to get a kick out of him when we went for our morning walk!
Well, jet lag sets in at times but overall doing well. Thank you for your prayers!
Prayer Points~
