Graduation

Graduation was Friday and the day was bittersweet for me. This small yet mighty group of families will always be my first and they have been here since I arrived. They are anxious to return home and we are excited to send them out. But, I will miss my new friends.

I really didn't know what to expect for the day. The families gathered and we waited for quite a long time for guests that were to come. The kids started to drop like flies in this process of exhaustion and hunger. But, the festivities began and the place soon rang loud with the sounds of the students singing. Thanking those of us on the center, recounting what they have learned, but most of all thanking God for all the above! I had kids piled on my lap and by the time it was there turn they were like wet noodles. They were so tired but they gave it a go and like kids they are always cute. We enjoyed lunch together and said our goodbyes. I have many invites to new areas of Tanzania. May God Bless them as they are sent out to make HIS name known among the tribes!
