I had a wonderful Afrian Birthday! I turned two (or so they tell me!) I was not to thrilled about the party hats Annelle got for the festivities but it kinda grew on me. I could not let Lady and Sampson show me up on my big day!
I got to go to school today! The kids are a little unsure of me at first. The watoto are not used to dogs! However, with all my cuteness it doesn't take long for them to warm up and we had a good time. They seemed to think that my wagging my fluffy tail was funny. To celebrate the day and to have a fun Friday activity Wes and Meghan came to help hide plastic easter egg like containers that were the shapes of African Animals. We thanked God for animals and the kids enjoyed finding the yummy treats. I say yummy because there was candy inside. Thanks to the team from Colorado who transported them from a friend at PCC. Thanks! The kids loved it!
Then we went to Scott and Annelle's Banda for more fun! Meghan and Wendy made me a special Doggy Birthday Cake (just for dogs!) I think they had just as much fun making it as Samspon, Lady, and I had eating it. You know entertainment is kinda slim around here so having celebrations like this for laughter is probably more for my human friends than me! But I am happy to make them smile. That is my African job you know!
Scott, Annelle, Todd, Tami, Meghan, Wes, Lady, Sampson and of course my Wendy were all there to help me celebrate! We the four legged party attenders ate cake and two legged friends had cookies. There were even new toys for me to unwrap out of paper! I really liked digging in the bag I could get used to that on any day! Thanks for the Birthday Wishes. I missed my friend Baxter but enjoyed the treats he sent! Maddie and Katie I apperciate the prayers as I keep my Wendy company here in Africa! Every day is an adventure being 2!
