Arriving in the States in a Month

This time next month I will leave my African Home and arrive back in the States. Wow! My life has changed in these past eight months. With every goodbye also comes a hello. How grateful I am for all my "hellos" in this year and how I will miss them. But, how wonderful it will be to see my family and friends of the States. Though it will not be a new "hello" it is weird to think so much has happened in my life as well as yours. I am prepping myself that part of these old "hellos" will be a bit new! I can't wait to have the hugs of PCC, to squeeze my nieces and nephew, and spend time with family and friends!

This month will be busy finishing up training, being a part of youth week with the Masai, and details of departure. I know that I will be back but it is odd to be leaving my now sense of home in Africa for an unknown time. But, I know God knows the time and there is comfort in that.

Many things are rolling around in my head. It will be hard to leave. The day that I leave Tanzania we will celebrate graduation and sending our families back to their villages to share the love of Jesus. So, the sending of my kids will force me to inch towards goodbye a little easier but just a little. I will be honest that I dread the trip again but will hold onto knowing that hugs will be on the other side!

See you in a month! But, till then much to do here in Africa!

Prayer Points~
  • Praise we are receiving much needed rain here and there!!
  • Please pray for my months of transition and the emotions of saying goodbye and hello!
  • Next week is CHE with the kids!
