Kids CHE Day 3

The kids began by acting out the story of the Good Samaritan it is so cute! Wes took video of it for me so hopefully a day in the States you will get to see it!

Today, we learned how to care for kids when they are sick and what to do when we have colds. We talked to the how important it is to wipe your nose and wash your hands. (Instead of letting it hang down their face!) We also talked about how to help a baby when they have a fever. The death rate for children is high and they fear for their children. They wrap them in so many clothes thinking that keeping them warm will help. But, we talked about how we should air them out and fan them to break the fever. We wipe them down with cool water. So, Farijika was my baby example today!

Cute little baby!

If the child needs hydrated then there is a sugar, salt mixture the kids can drink to help. So, the kids made the mixture and tasted it so they would know what it is like. They will also know to help momma if a sibling is sick.

The kids made First Aide kits to take home to their villages so they can help others! They were very proud of their kits and thankful as well!

Prayer Points~
Pray that these kids will grow and be healthy God fearing adults.
