2011 is Here

It is wonderful to be able to spend this time with family and friends. As overwhelming as it can seem sometimes it is good to be here. Even though part of my heart is many miles away I am grateful for this time to share how God is moving in TZ.

I am spending four fabulous days with my dear Taylor Family. Jennifer is always great at asking thought provoking questions. Yesterday, as I was desperately trying to keep my eyes open (which is the record) she asked, "what was the best part of 2010." Without hesitation I replied, "venturing and discovering my African Home." This time last year if you would have told me that I would experience all the things that 2010 brought I would have told you were crazy. It makes me wonder with great significance as I think of 2011.

2010~

• I became a Tanzanian Resident
• Became family of the TZ CMF Team
• I learned even more how to love and be loved
• Wrote curriculum for the children's portion of Church Planter Training
• Saw in amazement the African Wildlife (Our God is an amazing Creator)
• Spoke Swahili
• Drove a stick on the wrong side of the rode
• Learned patience and self confidence
• Worshiped as a Masai
• Miracles that shattered Darkness that birthed churches

As a reader of the blog you are aware that this only scratches the surface of 2010 in TZ. I am amazed at how God worked through us (CMF TZ Team) to do amazing things for His Glory.

2011~

• Share with others how God is moving in Tanzania
• May God rejuvenate the educational system in Tanzania that brings hope to the people.
• May God continue to work through me that this may be done to bring Glory to His name and raise a generation of children in Tanzania to love the Lord.
• Raise additional support so I can go home.
