Back Home Again In Indiana
I am currently sitting in a coffee shop on the circle. I do enjoy downtown filled with familiar yet different sites. It is good to see these sites after being gone for what seemed like another year but really was only a week and a half. I find traveling from place to place can be rather tiring but I do love the people that you get to meet or those you get to reconnect with! First Stop was spending sometime with my dear friend Jennifer! We had a fun girl weekend for my Birthday. It is so wonderful to treasure these moments with people who are in the States. I got to see Nashville but mostly enjoy being with my best friend. Then, a stop to Knoxsville on the way to Bristol. I got to visit with my dear friend Angie Barnett who was helping me connect with churches in the south for possible support. I am humbled by the southern hospitality found in small southern churches. It was fun to also share in Angie's 2nd grade class! I am grateful for their support and love for the ministry in Tanzania! Followed by a very hilly and curvey road to Lexington! Charlie and Betty Delaney were my next hosts! The sights of Africa in the house were comforting and it was fun to catch up and connect with a love of life in Africa. It was fun for me to get to share my stories since it was there stories while I was at CBC that continued my ongoing hunger for missions. My last stops were around Cincinnati. My Taylor House was home base but I was able to visit Wilimington and the kids there, Lunch with my dear friend Kay, singing at Delhi, and time with the Wilsons. I also was able return to Cincinnati and visit the Price Hill Church. The ladies were gracious and I enjoy so much painting the ministry of Tanzania. They are excited to be a part of the ministry and it always brings the world a little closer. Well, so that is what I have been up to these days. It is a little easier to type than it was to do. As much as I love sharing the vision of the ministry it is very tiring. I continue to pray for strength during this time. I love telling about what I do but I am getting a little homesick and missing what I actually do! My time here is precious but I am getting anxious to return to Tanzania! These next two weeks are set aside to catch up on some administration needs and to regroup a little. But, most importantly it is to share in the excitement of my youngest sisters wedding! I am so very excited for her and Zach and look forward to fun wedding prep! After the wedding I will head to Colorado for a month.
