Milo was busy helping Julius mix the cement needed to construct the tank. Jackson is the fundi (worker) who came to build the tank. With saw dust and cement the artwork began to take shape. It is marvelous how they make it work. It was almost like watching a giant pot on a potter's wheel. We must do what we can in all areas to make sure that we utilize what we have to produce water. We are thankful that the past several nights have brought rain. We pray that the short rains have come and will replenish this sun scorched land.
Prayer Points~
- We have reached our break point in training. Pray for safety for the students going home and then returning in three weeks. Pray as they return to their families and villages that they will remember what they have learned and begin to lay a foundation for sharing the knowledge within their areas.
- I am busy studying and writing curric. to use. Most of it includes Bible Stories written in a way that is simple to understand and easily taught by my Tanzanian friends. Hopefully the curric. that I put together along with the additional and improved Bible curric. will be given to pre-primary schools now started in the churches in Masai Land.
- I unfortunately burned parts of my leg with boiling water. The pain is now very manageable thanks to a team mate who has a friend that makes burn cream. Please pray for me to be wise in caring for the broken blisters and the healing that no infection sets in.
