Olais and his Bike!

Olais (who is our national teacher for the children here with their families for church planter training)  lives up the hill a ways from school.  It takes him about 2hrs one direction walking to the Center.  I knew that this was difficult for Olais and I also was looking for a way to bless him in his work.  With Tami's help we decided that it would be great if we could help Olais with a bike for transportation.  I am grateful that when the need was expressed to the Pathfinders Sunday School Class at Calvary in Longmont CO they jumped to the challenge of blessing us with the funds to be
able to bless Olais and our classroom in this way.  Olais is able to get to work quicker and is extremely grateful to receive this bike.  He is very proud of his bike and blessed by brothers and sisters in Christ.  This is another moment for me of how wonderful it is to be a part of the global body of Christ!  Thank you Pathfinders for being a giving group of people to bless the great work that God is doing here in Tanzania.  It may look like just a bike.  But, believe me "just" is not in our Swahili vocab here.  It is a great tool of encouragement and a vehicle for ministry!

Thank you Pathfinders!

Prayer Points~

  • We are grateful that all the families have returned for the second half of training.  I even got to have the newest member of the class Happy for the morning!  Happy is the baby who was born shortly before break occurred.  Pray for the second half of training that the students will continue to gain a great deal from the knowledge provided.
  • Our team will be in Field Team Meetings this week.  Pray that this is a time of unity for our team as we examine our ministry and brainstorm for the future.
