Graduation

Friday December 7th was another day of great celebration as we watched another group of families graduate!  They were all so very excited!  The kids were all in their new outfits thanks to "Threads of Joy."  Songs, testimonies, skits, and prayer filled the classroom as we blessed another group to go forth and preach the word!  I am always filled with great happiness for the families to return home but also sad to see them go.  I will miss their happy little faces and races to run up the lane to hug me.  I know that God has great things in store for this group of families and I can't wait to hear about them in time.  We shared a meal together and had cake too!  It was a great day but boy was I tired!  Annah and Catherine outfitted me for the day so that we three teachers of the children dressed a like.  It was cute and thoughtful of them to remember me.  The kids acted out the Christmas story.  We were down a few in the cast because some of them fell asleep but they were precious!  May God do great things in and through the lives of these seven families!!

  1. I had climbed kilimanjaro and had the pleasure to visit some of the family villages around machame village. I must say this mountain and its visitors have started several successful community projects that are changing the lives of the people everyday.
