We are excited to introduce to you the
three Maasai families who are here with us for this Training Course!!
The mkuu (leader) of the group is Baba na Mamma Rachel.
Otherwise known as Mika Solomon Mollel and Mary Francis Marandu.
He is Maasai however she is Chagga but they will be ministering to Maasai in
a new area of Gilai. Their daughter is Rachel Mika Solomon who is almost two years old.
Baba and Mamma Nairesiai are from the Matale area.
Joshua Papa Kukan is another brother of James Kukan who is the
bishop in the area of Matale. Another Kukan brother will join the church planters
despite growing up in the home of a witch doctor as a father!! His wife is
Mary J. Kukan and children are Nairesiai who is six years old and Neema who is 6mths.
Baba and Mamma Theresia are from Loliondo along with their children Theresia
who they say is 2 years old but I think she is closer to 5 years old.
Hezekiah is the only boy of the group who is just over a year.
Peter Parmeres Laanyu and Christina P. Laanyu are their full names!
Prayer Points~
- Pray for each of these dear families by name that they may be empowered to reach their people for Christ! May there be a hedge of protection around the center as the families learn and we teach during these weeks together.
- This week the adults are studying Acts and the kids are learning about the Patriarchs.
