A long overdue visit!

The highlight of my week was after almost a year and a half I got to visit with Annah once again.  Annah is a teacher that I had the privilege to train, learn from, and befriend during my last term.  She is one of the most delightful people that I know.  It was a treat to get to see her house but most of all meet her precious daughter!  Anasi is her name and she will be a year old next month.  Her name means "to bring God glory."  A beautiful name for a beautiful girl!  She was a little unsure of me at first but we made fast friends!  Anasi is very loved and has the most beautiful smile!

Jafed was kind to meet me to help me find their house.  Kids waited for us to arrive and sang songs of celebration.  We ate and chatted of the news of old and new.  I took gifts for everyone.  Anasi of course then had to humor her new friend as I played dress up!

Another joy of this visit was that Naserian joined us as well.  Naserian is the Masai girl that I look after who lost her mother and father.  She is on a school break and enjoys visiting Annah.  Naserian is doing well in school and it too was so good to hug her once again.  By her tears it seemed it was good to be a recipient of them once more which brought joy to my heart.

Prayer Points~

  • Blessings on Annah, her family, and her home.  May you continue to use her love for the children in Tanzania in mighty ways to bring YOUR NAME to the next generation!
  • This week the teachers return to EnGedi for Teacher Only Days.  The prepping of classrooms, trainings, and meetings will be much on the to do list!  Be in prayer for these teachers and the next term!
  • I will be leading many of the training sessions for some of the teachers.  Please pray for wisdom, strength, and clarity as I communicate the needed materials.
  • The kids return May 4th!  May they return rested, well, and ready for another term of learning!
