Take a walk with me from afar within the village. A walk through my neighborhood can have some different sites. Walking out this time we didn't see a lion though it looked a lot like one protecting its bites! I am not sure what innards it got a hold of but it was feasting.

The hospitable homes that we find ourselves in have a particular beauty about them. The dirt floor and livestock all around have a particular sense of home about it. The smell of the kettle on the open fire fills a familiar smell. The children laughing and playing all around. The sights have a beauty about it but not quite as beautiful as the people.

Unfortunately I busted my flip flop on the way walking out from the base. It made things quite difficult and despite my the thick outer skin that has formed on my feet it is not nearly thick enough to go barefoot! However, at our first stop Frankie took my sandal and fixed it. I continue to be amazed at the kindness of the African people and how resourceful they are. The picture of Frankie fixing my sandal is a beautiful representation of my wonderful friends.

We stopped first to see the twins and big sister Hosianna. The twins are doing well and getting bigger by the day! Hosisann still has one of the best smiles!
Then I got to meet Frankie's wife and second baby who was born a few weeks ago. Bright is a beautiful baby boy. It is an honor to get to pray and speak blessings over new life within he families of our friends.
These sights never get old! Welcome to Tanzania!
The African Sunset is my Favorite!

- that we may continue to be an example of love and to express Christ-like love that transforms our village area for the Kingdom
- the lives of these little ones that they may belong to Jesus and grow in love and knowledge
- strength as we continue to minister in this area. There is darkness here but as the African Son glows so does the light of Christ that shatters the darkness!
