Community Health Evangelism/Education (CHE) is a big part of our ministry here in Africa. The adults study CHE and learn how to take it to their villages in training. There is information about health, safe water, latrines, etc. All things important for them to know about keeping themselves healthy. This information is a holistic approach to health and is a great tool for evangelism within the village areas. As a result of CHE many churches have been started! We are grateful for Annelle's leadership in this area for our team!!

I felt it important to take some of the lessons for kids and have them a part of kids training as well. Elinipa is helping us this week. She is a CHE instructor and will join us for the week. The parents clapped when they found out what we were studying this with the kids!
We began with Olais telling the story of the Good Samaritan. The kids are listening so well and chiming in with the stories which I just love. I think it surprises Olais many times. The story sets up the stage for explaining how important it is to help others and that

Jesus wants us to share His love in that way.
Then, we went outside and sat by the road. We talked about how it is very important to be safe of the roads. The kids are not around roads too often so because of this many of them do not understand how important it is to be careful. Elinipa did a great job of teaching about how to care for wounds and bites. She is great with the kids and held their attention for over an hour! We let the kids try to bandage one another. It was cute and they were very serious about learning how to do it. Siliwano was slightly anoid with being bandaged up but then afterwards he thought it was pretty cool.

Prayer Points~
- Pray that these lessons will be embedded in their minds and hearts!
- Pray that my little ones will have helping hearts when it comes to other people.
- Pray for our CHE nationals leaders (Joseph, Lulu, and Elinipa) as they train others.
- Pray for Annelle as she leads this vital ministry part of our team!
- We praise God for the rain that we have had!
