Sweet Lea

Lea is the youngest Maasai child within her family but not for long!  Mukes and Solol are her older siblings.  I believe she is around three years old.  Lea had a very exciting moment within class the other day.  We work very hard for the children to begin to recognize their name and to work on writing their name.  With the little ones we always show his or her name card so they begin to see their name.  We impress upon them that they are special and unique as his or her name is read.  The other day Lea's name card was showing and before anyone could prompt Lea she raised her hand and said, mimi ~ mimi!" Which means, "me ~ me!"  Lea can recognize and read her name.  She along with the rest of us were very proud!

You are precious in my eyes and I love you.  Isaiah 43:4

You know Lea completely, Lord, and love her so much.  She is precious in your eyes and mine too!  May she grow in favor knowing who she is in You!
