"Playing Around!!"

"A good name shines in the darkness"

I promised I would not share to many stories before the group has the opportunity   But, if you are like me sometimes you can hear the same story more than once and always good from other's perspectives.  That is one reason and the other is that of course as wonderful as it is to have everyone here we are tired!  Cooking from one to eight everyday is a jump in between visiting, driving, playground, starting training, and just plain life here in Africa!  But, what a joy and treasure to have each one on the team here with us for "such a time as this!"  The farming plot project along with the playground are finished and we are prepping for our venture to the bush this weekend.  What a joy to share our experiences together!

On another note the three families have begun training.  I will introduce them and have pictures soon.  But, there is less and less crying each day and this group is already off to a wonderful beginning.  It is a joy to be able to watch Plainfield people that I care about deeply get to cherish some of "my kids!"  When most of the hard work of the playground was finished we brought the kids out to the playground and began to show them how "to play!"  More pictures will come but here are a few word highlights!  What a joy to watch Keith play in the  sand box with little two year old Recho (Rachel.)  Wonderful to watch David's face when the kids figured out the wooden Xylophone and smiles stretched wide on their face.  Listening to Sharon's laughter as she cherished each moment with the kids exploring each thing they had such a hand in creating.  There are many more but my eyes are getting heavy and I will let you see a few pictures of our progress with more to come!

Prayer Points~
  • good health and rest for the team and missionaries
  • preparing for our time in the bush
  • the three current families who have joined our CMF Family
  • We have had several staff members and church planters who are grieving the loss of intimate family members so be in prayer for comfort for them.
