Carrie Thomas has arrived here in Tanzania for the next 6/7 weeks. I am glad to have her here with Milo and I in the boma! Carrie is from Plainfield so it is great to have a home tie! She has a degree in education along with a Master's in Oxford. She is now in a two year Master's program in China. She needed an internship for her research. Her interest is how languages affects how we learn. So here with the mass languages and pressure for kids to know English Tanzania is a great research field! I look forward to her thoughts and brainstorming ways to help the literacy issue and efforts to consider as we teach here in Tanzania. We will be traveling and going over a lot of ground in the next several weeks! I hope that this is a great time for Carrie here in Tanzania and look forward to sharing life here!
