In the land of technology where everything social can be at your finger tips a trip to the mail box has lost its zeal. As thrilled as I am about being able to stay connected through Facebook, FaceTime, iMessage etc. I still love a trip to the mailbox. On the field it soothes my sentimental and TLC loving heart! I still love a good handwritten card or letter. I treasure the handwriting and the warm fuzzies it brings of home. So, like a kid at Christmas I still love surprises that often land in the little tin box all the way in Arusha Tanzania! In the last eight months I have received wonderful encouraging envelopes from Reunion, supporters, my family, and friends. Grateful to the ABC friends who helped put this one together (and I hear there could be another behind it!) I am going on six years on the field and it is still filled with many firsts! This is the first time I have ever gotten a pizza delivered via the mailbox! I am grateful and blessed to be loved by so many!
