Happy New Year!!

  2016! Wow!!

Lynda and I kicked off the year in the village of Magugu. Working with the teachers on how to develop a Christ-Centered School. Many of the teachings are such new concepts that it can seem a little slow going! But, we were pleased with the developments throughout the week. We had about 25 teachers within the preschool, primary, and secondary school there in Magugu. We taught on Holistic Education, Participatory Learning, Teaching Children to Love God's Word, How to play games and activities and much much more. Many of these teachers have such limited experiences that it can be very hard to paint. The week can be exhausting but we are very excited to see what happens this year in the lives of teachers, students, and families there in Magugu. The Community Outreach portion of our team joined us for a special time of prayer over the teachers. We believe that God will grant the power to help these teachers transform their classrooms as long a they are willing. 2016 is off to a very exciting start! While in Magugu I celebrated my year mark with The Joshua Foundation. I am so happy to be a part of such a wonderful group of people who are family while at the same time warriors in an army to bring this nation to know God. It has been a year of healing, growth, love, restoration, excitement, joy, difficulty, rejoicing, and much much more.

This weekend we had time with the team on an "advance." I discovered which is a new word for retreat. We enjoyed our worship together and prayed for the Lord to reveal exciting words for the year. It was an encouraging time to begin 2016. There was much laughter, game playing, and enjoying the view as well! We enter this year with Thanksgiving and great expectancy as we see what the Lord will do among the nations!
